For two days now I’ve replied to emails, never hit scheduled or unsend, only to discover hours later that the recipient never received anything and the message doesn’t exist in my sent box.

I’ve tried again this morning, double checked my sent box right after replying (it’s there). Then hours later it’s no longer there and recipient says they never received.

Has anyone else had this happen and know if it’s some sort of settings causing rhis?

Have you found a solution?

I’m experiencing this since IOS 16.
(Well. I’ve tracked it back to a period when this might have started)

I use the default mail app and my sender account is Outlook.com(Hotmail).

Experience:
Open the app. Open an email sent to my account. Reply to email and press send. I have the swoosh sound and it plays.
I don’t get the “replied” icon on the original email. Nothing is placed in “sent”. Nothing is found if I search for my reply. It’s just gone.

If I open the original again and reply. Everything works as expected.
