Disappearing space bar

Occasionally, when using the keyboard, the space bar seems to be off the screen at the bottom. How do I retrieve it?

Sounds like accessibility zoom mode you can turn it off in settings...or

With Safari if your entering text in the url field the space bar is not shown as its not needed use the search field

When you entering a URL, the space bar is invisible, because you can't enter a space into the URL. Same thing might happen with the app you were using.
