Disappointed No iPhone Mini

I was looking forward to new 4 inch iPhone as 4.7 inch is still too big for me. Why no 4 inch iPhone Apple? iPod Touch doesn't count since it isn't a phone so iPhone 5S is still the only option for people that prefer smaller sized phone.
So anyone else disappointed?

Why no 4 inch iPhone Apple?

I would assume it's because they did their research ahead of time via focus groups and came to the conclusion that they wanted to focus on the sizes which have brought them record subscriber growth over this last year, rather than coming out with a 3rd model that appeals to a small portion of their userbase who wants a smaller phone.

The 5S is still available so that's probably your best option.

A smaller size requires a new form factor
Apple doesn't release new form factors on S years
On top of that they have plenty of 4 inch 5s' still to sell through

My money for a new 4" is the iPhone 7, next fall.

Yes, I'm disappointed. I'm hoping iphone7 will have 4" size as an option
