Microsoft Office's auto-save feature, anyway. I was writing my APUSH paper (Advanced Placement United States History) and had just finished the intro. I took it to my brother, who told me it was really good, backing up my good feeling towards it. However, I was on his floor when the computer froze and I had not saved it again. I had to force shut it, and prayed and prayed that it had auto-saved at least some of it. When I opened Word though, the whole thing was there! Hooray! Just a fun little story I hope you guys enjoyed.

P.S. Ten awesome points for whoever guesses where this quote is from first:

"It must have been Tuesday. He was wearing his cornflower-blue tie."

Back in the System 7 days, my brother had a program that added a bunch of extra key combos (the option-arrow combo that I love having in OS X), and also logged keystrokes. That thing saved my ass a few times. :D
