Is there anyway to do a general "cleanup" of my macbook's HD? I have a uMB and have installed/deleted a bunch of programs over the last few months and I know they leave traces. I've used AppZapper but the demo ran out and I don't really want to pay for something I think Apple should give you for free (plus re-installing remembers the demo ran out).

Anyway, aside from me being cheap is there a way to clear out random files that aren't being used, the way windows can do a "disc cleanup"? I'm using SL, btw.

AppCleaner is a freebie program that will delete apps like you want. Not sure about the clean-up aspect though, sorry.
