Discharge out of the case, normal?

Hello,

is it normal that AirPods discharge nearly completely in one day when left out of the charging case or are they faulty?

Please clarify, thanks.

Yes, they're on / constantly polling the Bluetooth connection to look for your phone / iPad etc. when they are out of the case.
