Discharging faster than charging

Hello everyone,

Today I accidentally pulled the iPad too far from the mains socket and it partially pulled out the charging cable from the iPad. Now it seems stiff to push in (may just be me panicking). Also I've just been playing some games (pretty intense graphics) and while it's plugged in it went to 1% and then died. Can some games do this? I'm worrying that maybe not the full flow of power is getting to the iPad, possibly if I've damaged the connector? I have a 3rd gen iPad. Any help?

That's normal. Intense apps drain faster than they charge.

I don't see how you coud have a "stiff" port unless the metal is bent...?

That's what I worried about. I shone the torch inside and all looks okay. Probably me just worrying.
