Disconnect BT Headphone from watch

I have a Sony BT headset paired to my iPhone and watch. When it powers on it autoamitcally conencts to audio playing from the phone. On my watch I can force touch and choose the headphones to take over playing music from the watch.

My question is, after I'm through playing music on the watch, how can I disconnect from the watch and go back to the phone, short of turning the headphones off and back on again.

You should just have to force touch and change the source back to the phone.

That would seem logical, but it doesnt work.

Go into bluetooth in the phone and pick the headset? I'd guess it shows detached because the watch took it over. Touching the headset name should re-attach it to the phone.
