DiscoRecorder Tethering works.. but HTTPS?

I bought a tethering app from the app store and it allows regular port 80 (HTTP) traffic through the SOCKS proxy it creates. However.. I noticed that HTTPS wasn't working. Right now it's set under these settings on Mac OS Mountain Lion.

SOCKS Proxy --> Port 6668
Web Proxy --> Port 6667
Secure Web Proxy --> Blank .. (Instructions Tell me to do so) .. Setting this to port 6669 does nothing.

Any ideas?
