Discount iMacs on amazon uk

Hi just received a email from amazon uk offering discount iMacs does this mean they are getting ready for the upgrade model?

Yes, very strange to see iMacs discounted by around 11%, they are reduced also on amazon.fr and amazon.it. (The French site had a 27" thunderbolt led display down from 999 to 888 - so it's not just iMacs) I suppose the rare discounts might be due to 'euro-crisis' as there's no discount on iMac on amazon.de?

Looks like BestBuy is discounting all iMac's and FutureShop/BestBuy Canada stock is extremely limited if not all sold out. Staples Canada has all of the iMac's on sale.

Sorry to say this but...

I have been close to buying one from Amazon for the past few months. These discounted rates are the same they have been for months I am afraid....

I really hope there is one soon though...

I must admit the rMBP for £200 less than Apple may get my cash soon though at Amazon....

I know for fact the two tomes BB discounted MBA's have both been right before new launches.

They haven't been discounted, I've been tracking their price with pricedropper on firefox, the prices haven't changed in months.

If amazon and the likes are getting 'new stock' of 2011 Imacs in then i doubt they will be coming in October.
