Discount on non-Apple products in stores

Hey, quick question you guys.

I want to get a Wacom Intuos3 6x8 tablet, which Apple carries in their stores. I know you can get them at a student price (campustech.com has them for like $275 i think it was), but on Apple.com when I go in as a student it doesn't change the price for the tablet. I'm guessin I can't get non-Apple products at the student discount rate at my local Apple store then?

Most likely they don't want to deal with the paperwork that some manufacturers require for EDU pricing. Apple seems to pretty lax on theirs from what some say.
