Discounted iPod with purchase of Macbook

For the past few years, Apple has brought out the "free or discounted iPod with purchase of a Mac or Macbook" offer around the beginning of July. Has anyone heard if Apple with be offering this again this year, or if they will be doing any kind of similar discount or offer? Thanks!

They tend to do it at the end or beginning of the year, when tons of students are about to start uni. The want students to buy Macs, so they do that deal.

When you say beginning of the year, do you mean beginning of the academic school year (meaning july or august), or beginning of the calendar year (meaning january)? And have you heard if they will be offering it this "year"?

Yeah beginning of the school year. And I think you can get $100 off a printer if you buy one with your Mac. Its hard to say if they'll bring out the same thing this year. But they usually ALWAYS offer a deal for students when school is about to start It may be different though, and it may include the iPad this year!
