Just as an FYI whilst hunting for games that can run on a friends Linux setup I came across Nexuiz and it runs well on my 10.5 PM as well.

Played this game years ago in Linux, glad to see it is still going. However, it seems that Nexuiz is no longer open source, atleast current versions. Just as with OpenOffice, some people want it to be open (LibreOffice) and from Nexuiz came Xonotic apparently:
