Discovering my Final Cut Pro serial number.

So I'm running Final Cut Pro 5.1.4 on a series of computers in the lab I work in, and I'm creating a spreadsheet with all the serial numbers and information about each piece of software on each computer.

The only problem is that I cannot discover the serial number used on each computer. It's not on the splash screen when I run FCP...

After a few hours of Googling... I've come here.

does anyone have any ideas?

within FCP click on Final Cut Pro - about Final Cut Pro. It should be listed on their. At least on 6.x it works that way...

it also might be helpful to call apple.
