Discreet announced the introduction of Combusion 3 for the Macintosh today.
With combustion 3 software, Mac users will be able to experience increased
productivity, flexibility and improved workflow through such enhancements as
customizable brushes, savable presets, timeline markers, and DV capture and
output.
New features listed include Editing Operator, Expressions, Flash Output.

More information will be available at http://www.discreet.com/combustion3.

No news or releases have yet been made on Cleaner, however, which has also been the subject of rumors.

Pretty cool - I might make use of this...

New application announcements are (almost) always a good thing; this one is no exception. Flash output support will be an immense help to graphics designers, I'm sure. I'm startled by the large difference between the regular price ($995) and the upgrade price ($199), although I must admit that I don't know if this sort of thing is typical for applications in this category. What I'm wondering, though, is if it will be of any use to a game developer like me...

Typo alert: it's combustion

I've never used the program before, so I'm a little indifferent, but I know it has a large base. So props to those who use it.
