My discs won't insert into my MacBook. It's like they hit a hard object inside. There isn't anything in the drive - no other discs, etc. Is there anything at home I might try to fix this? I don't have time to send this off to get fixed as I'm heading on vacation and need my computer.

Try rotating the MacBook around in mid-air while its off and see if anything falls out, you could try poking something in there while its off, but Id be careful as they are delicate things optical drives :S

I find I occasionally have to angle the some discs up or down a bit before it ultimately goes in on my 13" I'd say it goes in about 1" before it hits something though.
