Discus won't open...Adobe message?Help!

When I try to launch Discus 3.07 (has worked fine for ages) I get an error message:
The application "Adobe Reader" could not be launched because of a shared library error: ",<Adobe Reader><Adobe Reader><InterfaceLib><>"

What does this mean,and what can I do about it?? I've tried reinstalling Discus to no avail,although it opens from the Disc OK,but not from my HD.
