Dish DVR play back on a Mac

I am liking the ability to plug an external drive into my Dish-DVR (not the Hopper). I now have a whole lot of room for recording broadcasts.

But does anyone know of a utility that will allow my Mac to read this external drive, and play back the recorded content ???
