I don't know what you'd call it...

The desired effect I'm after is this. I have a main panel on the page which shows the product I'm promoting. Underneath it I have a number of colour swatches. The idea is that when you roll over one of the swatches, the product above changes colour in accordance with the swatch you're hovering over - subsequently, when rolling off, the main pic is restored to its original state.

I'd consider physically clicking on the swatches to change the colour but to rollover would be preferrable.

So my initial question is how to interact with one image while changing another. I'm using <ahem> Dreamweaver 3 on an OS9 machine <the shame!> and Flash 4.

See my last reply in this threadfor a pure CSS solution. However, if the main images are large then it may not be as efficient as your Flash solution.
