I recently removed a 40GB Boot Camp partition on my system. My Macbook has a 250GB hard drive. When I click on Get Info and other folders for my hard drive though, it says the hard drive is only 219 GB. However, in Disk Utility it says the capacity is 250 GB. Is there anything that I can do to report the correct hard drive info.

I believe I deleted the boot camp partition using Disk Utility and then I went into the partition to remove it. I'm running Snow Leopard

Boot Camp Assistant is used to properly remove the Boot Camp Windows partition. What does Disk Utility say (screenshot) under the Partition tab?

It only show one partition at the 250 Gb capacity.

I'm having exactly the same problem. Removed a bootcamp partition using bootcamp assistant and now my MacintoshHD partition says it has capacity 499.76GB, available 27.33GB and used 258.15GB. Where is my lost memory?

I have run repair disk on the disk and it did have some issues but these are now resolved but I still don't have my lost memory

Can you provide screenshots of Disk Utility?
