How come after I clear space I'll always end up getting a "Startup Disk is Almost Full" message.

I had 22.9gb free but then some how I'll have no space left over. Do I have a virus? I need help with this issue!:confused::confused:

Gonna ask the basics first
Do you empty the trash when you clear space or just delete?

There are no viruses for OSX, so we can rule that out

Give us a little more information and lets see if we can help

Did you empty the trash? The trash keeps the stuff on your hard drive and until you empty it, the disc won't read different.
