Greetings....
I know we have a suspect external LaCie 2 TB drive. Started a Repair on the drive and it did not complete nor give any ongoing status for about 3 hours.
I tried stopping the repair, but it did not stop. The History window shows "Stopped by user," but the repair keeps going.
The blue/white barber pole still spins, drive access light blinks, but I'm going on close to 8 hours now without any type of results.
Being an old IBM mainframer, I'm apprehensive about terminating Disk Utility if anything in the drive is still spinning....
Thoughts and help please?
