Disk utility dvd restore?

now i have the dvd selected but erase is the only thing you can do restore is not there. where did it go. well i was going to try and post a pic but it did not work

i dont know why the image isnt showing. i just opened the URL inside the IMG tags into another tab and it showed fine.

you actually have your DVD drive make selected. insert a DVD and then select the indented one underneath (like your Mac OS X partition).

i know its suppose to do that but it does not i can put another disk in and it works fine but blank ones dont work
