Disk Utility help

I'm trying to restore a DVD with a disk image. I can drag the image to restore, but I can't drag the DVD to the destination field. It's blocked out. Any idea why? What can I do?

The same thing happens when I try to use my flash drive.

What happens if you click on the DVD on the left, then goto Restore, then drag in the DMG.

Or Mount the DMG in Disk Utility and select burn to disc.

The same thing. It's crazy.

It might be because you need to burn the disk image instead of trying to restore it. Click the Burn button on the menu bar of Disk Utility, navigate to the disk image and then burn away. Try that.
