Disk Utility is saying I have errors... but it made me wonder why do I have so many sections on the app? My other Mac has 3: Apple SSD, Macintosh, Data... I have double.

Any insight?

Had also issue with external drive which DU would not fix. I run DU First aid on the higher items in the structure and after running First aid on one which could be fixed error disappeared. This nested system is bit nightmare - if you get disk error, DU does not tell you which of the "layers" has problem and so you do not know which one to fix. You have to try to fix them all sequentially. Not sure if order matters and how much.
As for this complicated APFS structure - this is now normal and if you google "APFS disk structure" you will get multiple pages where this is explained. It is complicated, but actually cool...

Here's the Disk Utility User Guide:

It lists the order as:
1. Volumes (steps 2-4)
2. Containers (steps 6-8)
3. Storage Device (step 10)

It doesn't say how important order is.

See if you can boot into recovery and run DU first aid from there.

Thank you all. Issue resolved when performed in the correct order.
