I used to keep my iTunes library stored on a partition on an external drive, but have moved my library over to the internal drive of my new macbook.
I now have 30Gb on my external drive that I'd like to re-allocate to other media storage and Time Machine. Is it simply a matter of erasing my former music partition and creating "free" space, which I can then use the sliders in Disk Utility to expand my media and TM partitions?
EDIT: Nevermind. I just browsed through Apple's KB and it looks like I can't non-destructively resize a partition. Coriolis, here I come.
