I had a late 2012 MacBook Pro running OSX 10.9 Mavericks with a 2TB Western Digital External Hard Drive partitioned into two equal parts, one as my Time Machine backup drive (which was password protected by , and one for general storage.

My MacBook was stolen, and now I would like to access a few of the old files on the backup, though I am not ready to restore a full new Computer.

This is because I am at my work computer (Mac OSX 10.6) (the only Mac I have access to). When I plugged the drive in, it asked if I wanted to use it as a Time Machine backup Drive, to which I responded no.

My backup drive does not show up in Finder, only the storage drive does.

In Disk Utility, it says that my backup partition is an "Incompatible Format" and will not allow First Aid to be done on the drive.

I have attached two pictures.

Please help, this drive contains many irreplaceable pictures and documents, now that my computer is gone.
