Can't get my 2010 i7 MBP to boot from my Disk Warrior 4.1 DVD. Shows Apple symbol then freezes. Works fine on all or other Macs running 10.6.3

Anyone else with issues?:apple:

Same thing here... Diskwarrior 4.1 refuses to start and I have to force shutdown the computer... very annoying !

Third paragraph:
http://www.alsoft.com/DiskWarrior/support.html

Blame Apple for that one.

That third paragraph is new. It was not there a month ago.

I purchased the upgrade for Disk Warrior in an attempt to repair a Drobo:( over a month ago. It would not boot my MacPro 2009 Quad it would just sit there.

First, Alsoft denied there was a problem and then after :mad:several heated emails and phone calls admitted it and blamed Apple.

Alsoft gets the same advanced information from Apple as does the other developers and I have booted my MacPro 2009 Quad from other developers disk without a problem. It's sloppy programming pure and simple. Unfortunately Alsoft isn't the only one, but it still doesn't make it right.

That sucks. Any decent alternatives? I just need software than can run tests on my HDD.

Thanks!
