So my original DVD is Rev 901 of Disk Warrior and I'm using the 4.2 updater.

Has anybody been able to boot Disk Warrior 4.2 build from Rev 901 on a Core i7 MacBook Pro?

It won't work, I tried it on a base model 15" 2010 MBP 2.4GH. Alsoft says they are waiting for info from Apple so they can make a boot up system DVD. Until Apple gets that info to them, they are stumped. You can use the updated version 4.2 of DW on the new machines, you just have to get booted up from another disk USB or Firewire external HD, or use the target disk mode (connect by firewire cable push the T key on boot up, turns the MBP into a big flat external firewire HD!) . I used an USB external HD, cloned the internal HD drive to the external and rebooted from the external, then ran DW 4.2 on the internal drive. works fine.
Actually much faster than using a DVD, which takes forever to Boot.

Well my SD card with the DW image didn't boot either so I guess I'm waiting.
