I've lost all of the data on my external drive (500GB eGo iOmega) after plugging it into a new MBP with OSX Lion 7.0 build. I'm running Disk Warrior, and it's giving me a "Rebuilding directory... Speed reduced by disk malfunction" error. It's scrolling along in about the 15,828 range, moving at abaout 3000 whatever-these-are an hour. I understand that these things can run for days, but I have no idea what that number means.
Anyone done the same thing with Disk Warrior? Recovered any data?
