Is there any good (and perhaps free) diskpartition programs for macosx (10.3)?
I have both yellowdog linux and macos x on this drive.
First i partioned 40gb (out of 56gb) to macosx and installed it,
then i installed yd linux on the next 10gb.
I still have 6 GB unused, but Disk Utility cant see it or partition it...
I want to partition the last 6gb as Fat32, then both ydl and macosx could use it without problems (hfs+ sharing is a bit dangerous with linux, poor write impletation)

My current partition map:

40gb Mac Os (hfs+)
10gb YD Linux (ext3)
6gb FREE and unusable at the moment!!

i know that i could use pdisk in linux, but i think its a bit risky...
i've ruined partition maps in linux before....

I too would like a disk utility that could format to fat32.

EDIT: After searching the forums, I think OS X's disk utility might be able to format fat32 but I can't seem to find it right now.

EDIT 2: Ok I figured it out. You can't format one disk to contain both HFS and Fat32 but you could make a seperate drive use Fat32.

You will notice in the partition tab in disk utility you cant select ms-dos but in erase or in the inital formatting process you can select ms-dos.

I think im right but someone correct me if im wrong
