I wanted to see if anyone else has had problems with the ability to dismiss notifications on their watch by simply lowering their arm. Since I've had the watch, I this function has not worked. When I lift my arm again to look at the watch, the notification is still there asking me what action I want to take. Any help on this would be great. Thanks.

That's not how it works. If you don't want to deal with the notification now, just press the digital crown. If you want to fully dismiss the notification (as in, like clearing it from the iPhone, it will be gone), you can either scroll down until you reach the "dismiss" button. The easier method is when you are at the top of a notification, just pull down and it will be dismissed.
