The Disney app on the appletv (current version) and iPad - will no longer launch.
The D+ app has never given me an issue.
Suddenly I get an error code 73 message- which indicates my ip address is NOT in United States (?)

All other streaming apps continue launch without issues.
Disney plus support tried resetting ip address and all the other usual delete the app, re-instal, reboot system, etc.
nothing worked.
Now:
Strange thing is I CAN successfully launch the Disney+ app loaded on the home page on my smart TV ! (?)
I can also launch the app through an internet web page on my iPad.
But the dedicated app on both the iPad and appletv will NOT launch.

Is this a Disney+ issue or an Apple app issue?

Works fine for me, well apart from the fact that the crap developers at Disney have turned off Dolby Vision on the Apple TV app again, and refuse to fix it, other than that it works. Are you behind a VPN on these devices?

No.
No vpn
Although when I go to checkmyipaddress.com
It claims that I am.
I never installed a VPN

No
If I connect via my phone as a hotspot and stream off cell data- I am able to launch the app.
I only get the issue while connected to the wireless wifi.

No VPN
I wouldn't even know how to do it.
I rebooted everything and Verizon tech cleared caches via phone support.
nothing helped.

The issue only effects Disney+ app on Apple devices while on wireless wifi.

The app works on a data connection and via the ethernet cable from modem to the smart tv.

thanks for trying to help me figure it out.

I can only suggest you reset your wireless settings on the iPhone. I think that will delete all of your saved Wi-Fi networks though. I can’t think of anything else to try.

Oh, unless you have tried removing the app and reinstalling it again? You may have mentioned that already.

What is your public IP? Who is your internet service provider? What brand and model is your ISP device and network WiFi router? So many variables… from your router is actually using VPN service or ISP assigning your device an IP in range that once was associated to a VPN service or Disney database of VPN IP ranges is wrong.

What does whatismyipaddress.com say? That IP address checking site you posted goes to a landing page for a for-sale domain.
