Disney+ Dolby Atmos on Apple TV 4K

Just got Disney+ here in the uk and Star Wars shows as being in Dolby Vision and Folby Atmos but when I play it I only get 5.1 surround. Anyone else noticed this?

Not checked yet, but might be part of the reduced streaming quality because of the EU request to reduce internet demands

I’ve just checked mine and you’re correct. No Atmos. Could just be a bug, could be a few reasons but not a great start lol

Thanks @jck1634 I'm deciding if I sign up via ap4k t.v., or online or if it reaches sky q.
No Atmos kit, only DD+ via Sky soundbox.

Its DD+ ON Apple TV too.

Just checked via Twitter as well and found my way to this website which seems to confirm the loss of Atmos as a bandwidth limiting measure. Bummed because I was really looking forward to hearing Star Wars in a whole new way but understandable I guess

Hopefully it'll back on soon.

Thanks @jck1634 DD+ is excellent feature for my Devialet Sky soundbox.
Some reports that Q app isn't showing 4K from Disney+
Wonder if reduced bandwith from C19 Virus means Atmos/4K being dropped by some providers.

I am getting DD+ on the ATV but get Atmos on the Fire TV Cube.

I only know that Q app isn't 4K Disney enabled yet, though could arrive sometime later.
Whilst comparing to ap4k t.v. -Q app is Hd only -prob Digi Stereo.
I'de expect Q app to catchup with DD+ once they enable 4K Disney App.
