Disney+ Playing German audio?!?

Has anyone encountered the issue when you are watching something on Disney+ and it starts the audio in German instead of English? It’s happened several times for me on various versions of TVOS. Just now watching Loki and the audio started in German. I invoked Siri to change the audio to English and it worked. Next episode starts again in German and Siri attempted to switch audio back to English and she couldn’t do it. I had to stop the program and restart for it to finally switch back to English.

I don’t have this issue with any other app.
Currently using ATV4k gen 2 and had it happen on my gen 1 ATV4k so doesn’t seem to be tied to TVOS or hardware.

I have found that is is very easy to change languages accidentally with the remote on the Disney app. I don't actually see the drop down option but touch the edge in a particular way and the language changes. I have to change it back to english in the audio options drop down.

This happened to me too! I don't think the audio menu shows up in the disney player like it does in the default player.

If I purposely do it then the drop down appears, but I have managed to change it and spot the change no drop down and usually fumbling the remote when picking it up.

Thanks for the thought, but that’s not happening with me. It literally changes between episodes with no touching of the remote

Which remote are you all using? I have the new one and played around with it and cannot get it to change as you’re describing. The only way I found to change was a firm press on the lower part of the outer ring of the touch part of the remote, which then brings up the subtitle and audio menu.

I am on the 4k Mk1 or whatever it is called.
Swipe down from the top edge to get the audio options though the hiccups seems to also happen side edges.

but even on the new one you can just swipe down on the middle portion of the touch surface. If swipe doesn't work, try rebooting the appleTV, the new remote seems to get confused every so often, maybe yours just failed so the swipe doesn't work.

it just takes "down, down, left, click" to swap it to German.

My issue isn’t that I cannot figure out how to change it. My issue is that it’s changing on its own with no roughing of the remote and nothing popping up on the screen to brocade its being changed.
This is happening either when starting to watch a new program, or when watching back to back episodes of a program with auto play, and the audio changes to German on the second episode, with no interaction with the remote.

From Spain here. I´m having exactly the same issue. Totally random language changes in Disney+ when testing different content. Sometimes it would start in German, other in English, other in French. No remote interaction at all. Weird (and spooky) bug.
