iPod Disney releasing first-run movies online

...but not via iTunes. According to CNN, Disney will make some movies available on the CinemaNow website (link). Is anyone else surprised that iTunes wasn't chosen for this, given Steve's link with Disney? The current format isn't even compatible with the iPod.

I'm guessing that this will come to iTunes eventually, but I'm surprised that Apple isn't getting the scoop.
