And society takes one step closer to the lovely vision of Aldous Huxley's Brave New World. Not surprising that it's a company like Disney perpetuating such technology. ;)

smellar vision? that's just not right, sorry.

I can think of so many movies that you'd never want to smell.....maybe kids will like it....

So... I get to smell Julie Andrews? Hmm...

Hehe... maybe they could remake that scene in "Shawshank Redemption" where he crawls through the sewer pipe to freedom with smeller vision. Ewwwwwww!

Wasn't there something floating around a while ago that was something like a scent-generator for your computer? A little box that mixed oils kind of like a printer mixes inks to come up with a smell or something like that. Sounded like crazy talk at the time.

Lol, smell the gunpowder and burning flesh in the new edition of DOOM! Now with smeller vision!

"...Yes, our new rides have amazing and exciting added features. After years of development and engineering, our designers have created 'non-simulated death,' in which our happy-go-lucky visitors can die, yes you heard me, die, on rides. You may have already seen this extraordinary new technology in use on one of our rides earlier this year. Now our two new rides will give you the same death-o-matic experience!"

Rocket Rods Part 2?

If anyone remembers that ride at Disneyland in Anaheim, they couldn't keep the cars from staying on the track. It was the ride hat replaced the people mover. Was the fastest ride in the park before they shut it down.

I'm sure that "smellar vision" will be very popular with the younger set. I definitely would want to try it once. The NASA attraction is the one that has the most appeal for me personally. Cooking shows is where this technique would have the greatest appeal for any age.
