What is "TN display"?

I haven't been able to find anything online, but I was under the impression that my new 13" cMBP's display might be glass?

I have a hard time believing that my new 13" cMBP's Touch Pad is glass, because it looks gray in color.

Are you sure about that?

Sincerely,

Debbie

Why doesn't the Track Pad feel like glass?

And why is it gray then?

Is it frosted?

Debbie

It is some sort of bead blasting to give it a uniform texture.

Magic Trackpad is just like the trackpad on the MacBook Pro — but bigger. It’s made with the same advanced touch-friendly and wear-resistant glass surface.

Is your 2009 Macbook the one that has a mouse click button below the trackpad or does the trackpad click down? If it's the one with the trackpad that clicks down then it is a glass trackpad like the MBP, if it has a separate mouse button it is plastic.

WOW!! That is glass?!

It has a white bar - which is about 3/4" high - below the trackpad, so I guess that means my track pad is plastic, which it definitely feels like it is.
