I've noticed something that has been happening more and more frequently with my laptop, and decided to post something here to see if this was something that just happened randomly to various displays or is something that I should be concerned about/look more into.
I generally leave my laptop on, as in, not in sleep mode but on actually, for extended periods of time. Most notable is between classes and such because I often have things that I want my computer to be doing while I am away. I usually have the display turned all the way down though, or it goes into screensaver.
I've noticed however, that when I come back to my computer, the color calibration of the display seems to change. It is always with a lot more blue that should be in the screen. However, when I go to system preferences and open up the display tab , it fixes itself automatically (or at least goes back to the right calibration). Sometimes it doesn't do this, but then fixes itself after about 5 minutes or so of usage.
It also does this some of the times that I actually put my computer to sleep as well, so I don't think its just related to that or in one case or in the other
Does this happen occasionally to other users, and is this something that is just part of the normal wear and tear on a computer, or is it something that I should consider investigating further, and could possibly lead to something more siginificant happening to my display that would require the attention of Apple?
