Hello,
I own a 17'' MacBookPro | OSX 10.5.8 | 2.5GHz Intel Core 2 Duo | 4GB RAM
and I have a problem trying to calibrate my monitor. Every time I use the Display Calibrator Assistant it crashes.

If I don't choose expert mode, it crashes after the target white point screen, and if I do use expert mode it crashes at the "Admin" step. I have searched for an answer but found nothing. Someone with a similar problem changed his permissions to read&write but it doesn't work for me.

Can someone help?

Here is a text file with the crash report in case someone is such a guru who can make sense out of it

Thanks,
Stahis

A note :

When I say changed his permissions to read & write, I meant in the ~Library/ColorSync/Profiles folder

Solved

I changed to Rosetta and it worked. Go to ~System/Library/ColorSync/Calibrators/Display Calibrator.app
> get info
and check open using Rosetta
