Is there any widget for jailbroken iPhone that will display current active timer running on lock screen? I frequently use the timer, and often want to just quickly glance how much time is remaining.

I've never heard of such a widget, but it would be fine seeing the timer on lockscreen.
Maybe the tweak 'nolockscreen' will help you. It removes the lockscreen, so you can access the timer app directly by clicking the home or sleep button.

Sounds like the way to go to me. I assume that nolockscreen has an SBSettings toggle so you could just turn it on only when you wanted to use it for something like this?
