"Display driver amdkmdap stopped responding and has successfully recovered."

Anyone know what might be causing this or how to fix?

Mac Pro 2009 with Windows 7 64-bit 5870 XFX

Driver version 14.501.1003.0

Get this about once a day whilst gaming only - screen goes all weird for a second and game crashes out. Rest of system ok.

Searched on web but seems multiple causes and fixes (for all sorts of non Apple HW) and hoped someone might have come across this.
