Display from Core Duo fit Base from C2D case?

I have a Core Duo 1.83ghz Macbook in which the logic board has died. I can get a used 2.0ghz Core 2 Duo bottom case with the logic board. My question is, will the display fit it or is it designed differently? I would think it would fit but wanted to make sure before I bought it. Thanks.
