I have the latest generation iMac 27" and suspect my kids messed with it. The entire desktop does not seem to fit the screen. I have to place the pointer all the way to the top, bottom or either side if I want to see something at any of the extremes. This happens with a video window as well. The fonts seem to be a little different as well - somewhat darker and not as clear. I've already tried changing the resolution to no avail; I currently have it a 2560X1440.

Any help will be greatly appreciated,

It seems like someone altered the accessibility settings. Try pressing (command-option, -) to zoom out. Once you've done that, press(command-option, 8) to disable the ability to zoom.

Thank you!!! that worked.
