Not really a biggie but I've noticed on my new iMac that when I login to my user account the desktop screen momentarily appears and then the screen instantly goes into sleep mode. All it takes is a nudge of the mouse / key press to bring it out of sleep mode and all is as it should be. Checked all the relevant settings and they're where I would want them - the only think I can think of is perhaps it's one of my Login Applications is causing this behavior. One thing I'll investigate when I get home is my new acquisition of a Wacom Bamboo tablet which does launch an application on login.

As I said, in the grand scheme of things it's not particularly worrying however if anyone else has got any thoughts it would be appreciated.

Both my MBPs do it... it's annoying as crap. For me.. everything will look normal for about 30 seconds.. but the WIFI won't work at all.
