Hello,

I'm going to be buying an iMac and I was wondering if it is possible to display what's on my iPad screen onto the iMac as I draw on the iPad and would like to record it to produce speed paintings.

On the subject of graphic art how does pixelmator run on the iMac?

Thank you :apple:

There isn't a way to put the iPad's display onto the mac at the moment.

If you jailbreak the iPad you can install Veency to show the display on the computer, but it's pretty crappy.

Alternatively you can get a 30-pin to HDMI adaptor and plug the iPad into your TV to display the iPad's screen there, or buy an Apple TV and simply AirPlay the iPad's display to the screen - assuming you have an iPad 2.

And Pixelmator runs like a champ on my 2007 iMac, so it'll run even better on your 2011 iMac.
