I was able to connect my Macbook Pro to my Samsung HDTV using the miniDVI port connector and an HDMI cable to the HDMI2 slot on the TV but what is showing on the computer screen is not showing on the TV. The TV shows the apple setup screen saver image that you see when you are rebooting the system after installing an application (i.e. no icons displays just that pinkish install screen), whereas my actual laptop screen shows my actual screen with icons, apps, etc. How do i get the display on my TV to match the one on my computer?? Thanks! Gregg

Does :apple: > System Preferences > Displays > Arrangement > Mirror Displays work?

I will try when I get home tonight and let you know. Off to the beach for now ;) Thanks!
