Display issues - mosaic pattern

Hi all,

I have a strange issue with my MacBook Pro (Mid 2017, 15 inches). For some reason, my internal display shows a little mosaic structure in the details. First, I thought, that this would relate to the 10.13.4 Beta 1 update, but after booting into BootCamp, I am still seeing this pattern. So, this must be hardware-related. I connected an external monitor and both Windows and Mac looks sharp and as expected. Here's a picture of the issue (it's not moire effect what you see, it's the annoying pattern).

Does anybody of you have seen something like that before?

The solution is easy.
Take it back.
Ask for repair, or a replacement.

I'll do that but I wanted to make sure that this not a consequence of a firmware update from Beta 1 of macOS 10.13.4., does it?

Is that not just a FileVault thing? Doesn't look like a hardware problem, it's just blurring the user image to me?
