Display Issues: Small Colored Lines

I've been having an issue with my Macbook Pro (early spring 2009 model) with colored lines appearing during video playback, moving windows around, etc. It seems to have involve movement. The same lines appear on my Apple 24in. display when it's connected via mini-display port. Any thoughts or advice?:confused: Please see the attached screenshot for an example...
