MP 1,1-5,1 Display MacBook Pro 2015 screen to cMP screen?

I have Catalina with continuity working on my cMP 5,1. Is there an easy way to display my MacBook Pro 2015 screen into my cMP screen, as mirrored? I have a 4K Dell screen and if I connect the MacBook to it, it requires an external GPU. My goal is to use the cMP as gateway to project the laptop screen.
